Inside Charm City has a rundown of the mess throughout the MARC system this morning, which caused delays due to mechanical problems, crowding and the recurring 'late arrival of equipment.' There have been a number of early morning delays throughout the summer, but in my experience the problems are usually solved and the train is only running (as is typical) 10-minutes late.
Maybe the conductors just aren't morning people?
